Business as Usual

There has been a lot of media speculation regarding the proposed development plans for the land immediately surrounding the Arena, to build a conference and exhibition facility for the City. The Arena management are closely involved in these proposals and would like to make it clear that any such plans are highly speculative, have a timescale of many years and will always include the provision of an Arena as a central part of any development.

In short, no one knows at this stage what will eventually be sanctioned, following approval and being advantageous to us, but what we do know is that there will always be an Arena, bringing world class entertainment to the people of the North East!

So its business as usual, and heres to a great year of top quality events!
